Welcome to the Birds of a Feather Kit Co. Ho Ho Ho Holiday Blog Hop!

Happy Saturday, Chickies!

Welcome to the Birds of a Feather Kit Co. Holiday Blog Hop! If you have been following the hop, you should have been directed here from the Birds of a Feather Kit Co. blog. If you are just stopping by for a visit and want to join the Blog Hop (and get entered into a couple of drawings for free stuff), just hop on over the Birds of a Feather Kit Co. blog and start at the beginning. Then, follow the links on each Scrap Chick's blog, through to the end.

Now, I have a couple of things to share with you. First, I've been working with the BOAF kits since the beginning, and have had so uch fun through the years creating with each beautiful kit that Amy creates. So, I wanted to share a couple of my favorite layouts, from past.

This first layout is an all-time favorite layout of mine. I LOVED the papers, I LOVED the embellishments, and I LOVE the message I was trying to capture.

This second layout is from my all-time favorite kit. I just loved all the papers and colors in this kit!

This final layout is one I created using a December kit. I loved how versatile the kits are!

Now, I also have a fun and easy challenge to share with you. Colors are something I love to play with in my scrapping, so this is a color challenge. You need to use this color scheme for your challenge. This can be a holiday themed project/layout or it can be a non-holiday item....just make sure that you use these colors. To help you out, if you happen to have the December Birds of a Feather Kit Co. kit...these colors match it perfectly ;)

For an example, I created this super fun and easy Christmas card, using the December Birds of a Feather Kit Co. kit.

Now, if you do decide to Blog Hop with us, there are a couple of fun prizes up for grabs. The BIG prize (this one will go to one lucky winner who visits each blog, leaves a comment at each AND becomes a follower of the Birds of the Feather Kit Co. blog) is a FREE Birds of a Feather Kit Co. kit! The deadline for this is Sunday, December 13th at 11:59 pm.
Now, at each stop on the blog hop, you will find a challenge posted by each Scrap Chick. For each challenge that you complete, and share with us on our blog, you will receive an additional entry into the free kit drawing. Also, your name will be entered into a separate drawing for a $20 gift certificate to the Birds of a Feather Kit Co. boutique. The deadline for sharing your projects with us is next Saturday, December 19th.

Okay, the next stop in your Blog Hop is at the blog of Scrap Chick, Brenshevia
Enjoy the rest of the Hop, and thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your weekend with us.

Say "Hello" to the September Birds of a Feather Kit Co. kit!

Hello, Chickies!
I wanted to share a couple of layouts that I created using the beautiful September Birds of a Feather Kit Co. kits.
This month Amy has put together another amazing kit.  We're ending the summer Kit season with more deep summery colors and bold designs; floral-patterned paper lovers rejoice! The WRMK "Wildflower" Collection boasts some absolutely gorgeous florals and botanicals sure to satisfy your flower fix! Taming the vibrant "A"-sides are serenely beautiful ombre designs and splashes of watercolor on the reverse. Everything is perfect for those late summer and early fall pictures.

For my first layout, I created this simple layout using a favorite picture of the pups. Whenever we leave, come home, or are just outside without them, they will sit in the window and watch us. I LOVED fussy cutting the flowers from the "Wildflower" paper. The title was a mixture of fussy cutting and WRMK gold foil words. To finish off the layout I threw on some WRMK washi tape and touch of "Dylusions" ink spray.

For my second layout I scraplifted a favorite layout from former Scrap Chick Kristin. This time I really played with patterns and colors, and had a ton of fun layering the oranges with the blues. I addes some more fussy cutting and was able to use a favorite picture I took of Zack and Taylor when we visited him at OSU this past weekend. I finished off the layout layering my title and my layout was finished.

As you can see, the September kit is another fun-filled kit! If you haven't picked up your September kit, there are still a few left in the boutique.

~Happy Scrapping~
