It's Time to Hop 'n Crop at Birds of a Feather Kit Co.

Happy Friday and Welcome to the Birds of a Feather Winterfest Crop 'n Hop! Hopefully, you have been directed here from Nicole's blog. If you are just visiting (and weren't directed here from Nicole's blog), please join us for the complete Blog Hop and Crop. All you have to do is start HERE, hop from blog to blog, and finish up at the Birds of a Feather blog. To make it even more fun, we have a super interesting progressive layout challenge planned for you. IF you complete the entire Hop, you leave a comment on each participant’s blog, you complete the layout challenge AND you get it posted in the gallery by midnight on Sunday, December 16, you will be eligible for a FAB SCRAPS-Christmas Collection: Spiral Bound Book ($20 value)

FAB SCRAPS-Christmas Collection: Spiral Bound Book. This book is the perfect starting point for any mixed-media-style journal or scrapbook. Inside are twenty full-page and six half-page sheets that are ready to capture your special memories. Add photographs and keepsake memorabilia then journal and jot down notes to create the perfect memory book! Overall measurements are 10x7-3/4 inches. The full pages are each 10x7 inches; the half pages are 10x4 inches; and the spiral binding has a 1 inch diameter. Each package contains one book. Embellishments not included. Imported.

For this hop, the Scrap Chicks decided to do a Progressive Layout Challenge. Each of us has something special to add to the original sketch, posted by Kristin. My special touch is to make your title using mixed media and/or mixed alphas. Super easy, super fun, and a GREAT way to use up your stash.

Here is my layout, to this point. So far, I've used Kristin's sketch, added Nicole's stitching and finished with my mixed media/alpha title.

Here are a couple of close ups:

If you check back after Sunday, you will be able to see my entire layout (using the rest of the Scrap Chicks' additions).

Since this Blog Hop is part of the Birds of a Feather Kit Co.Winterfest Crop, I've got a special treat for one lucky person who comments on this post: a $10 gift card to the Birds of a Feather Boutique! Since we are Hopping all weekend long, you have until Sunday night, at midnight, to leave me a comment. You do not have to be a follower of my blog, but if you like what you see, I'd love for you to stick around and become a follower.

Okay, it's time to hop on over to Amy's blog to continue on with the fun! Remember, if you finish the entire hop, leave a comment on everyone’s blog, you complete the challenge layout (and get it posted in the gallery by the deadline) you are eligible for that darling FAB SCRAPS prize! Enjoy the rest of the crop and I sure hope you will join us over at the forums for a weekend full of scrapping, games and fun!
