Happy December, Everyone!
Today I have a fun challenge to share with you from over at Birds of a Feather Kit Co. This month the Scrap Chicks are trying something different. Instead of posting a technique, each Chick will post a challenge, instead. This means that every Sunday, a new challenge will be posted for our members.
If you accept the challenge, you will have until 11:59pm, PST, on Saturday to complete each challenge and post it. If you do, you will then have your name placed into a drawing for a small RAK.
I know that December is a super hectic time of year, and I know that we need to maximize our scrappy time. Hopefully these challenges will spark your mojo and help you get some holiday pictures (or everyday pictures) into albums.
Now, without further ado......Here is this week's current challenge:
As
many of you know, I LOVE to use a single picture that I've printed out
numerous times. Now, I know that we have tons of pictures to scrap, but
this is such a FUN design element and I find myself using it more and
more. You can lay the pictures out in a row (like I did with this
challenge layout) or layer them, or stagger them. I've found that Page
Draft sketches are an AWESOME help when I want to use this technique ;)
So,
your challenge is simple: Create a layout using a singe picture that
you've printed out numerous times. This means you must use the same
picture at least twice on your layout. And, no other picture is allowed!
Here is my example:
And a couple of close ups:
Remember, this challenge is open until Saturday at 11:59pm PST. I'd love to see what you can create using this technique!
Have a blessed Sunday,
~Linda~
